Background

The development of this two-building plot began with Aurora House in 2013.  Intended as a high-quality demonstration project to lead the way for future plot developments on the campus, HLA worked closely with Threesixty Architecture to develop the site layout and design the hard and soft landscape.  The detail design required careful interpretation of the established design codes for the Campus and featured a distinctive external meeting space as a focal point next to the main entrance.

Following its completion, Hirst Landscape Architects worked alongside Threesixty Architecture to develop the second building and complete the plot.  Solasta House references its award-winning neighbour to inspire and further develop its conceptual and aesthetic design.

Similarly, the landscape adopts the design codes and materials of the earlier project to compliment the new building concept, enhancing the entrance experience through the creation of a distinctive external space.
