Paul Miller
Hirst Landscape Architects is delighted to announce the arrival of Paul Miller as a Partner. Previously an Associate with the Practice, Paul re-joins from his post as Manager of Glasgow City Council's Land Services Landscape Design Group.

As well as bringing a solid background in commercial landscape design, Paul's recent experience includes the development of landscape strategies for major road infrastructure projects, park regeneration and development, managing and developing play area improvement programmes and management of strategic project partnerships. His team at Glasgow City Council recently completed a £600,000 reconstruction of the civic frontage of Kelvingrove Museum and won the 2007 LGN Award for "The Best Play Area in the UK" for 'Grounds for Play' at Bellahouston Park, completed in 2005. Paul is also a Supervisor and Examiner for The Landscape Institute's "Pathway to Chartership".

Paul's experience and management skills will be used to broaden the Practice's professional and technical capability and his enthusiasm and hands-on approach will ensure that we are able to develop and improve the high level of service that we strive to provide.
